The “Eye in the Sky” smart Ferris wheel features an AR viewing cabin, enhancing the interactive experience.

Augmented Reality (AR) allows the view outside the window to change.

Each observation cabin is equipped with a transparent OLED screen. Visitors can wear special glasses or look directly at the cabin walls to see virtual animations overlaid on the real scenery outside the window. For example, when the Ferris wheel reaches its highest point, a "Congratulations on reaching the top" effect will pop up on the screen.

  • Variable frequency drive reduces energy consumption by 30%.

It adopts a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a frequency converter to automatically adjust the output torque according to the load. The operating frequency is different when fully loaded and unloaded, saving about 30% of electricity compared with traditional asynchronous motors, while also making start-stop smoother.

The cabin environment can be customized.

Operators can set the cabin lighting color, background music, and audio guide content in the backend. For Valentine's Day, the lights can be switched to pink and romantic love songs, while for Halloween, the lights can be switched to orange and ghost story voiceovers, without requiring any hardware modifications.

Smart functions

  • Each cabin has its own Wi-Fi, allowing guests to vote and select songs using their mobile phones.
  • The in-cabin camera automatically captures photos; scan the QR code to download commemorative photos.
  • Real-time display of queue length and estimated waiting time

The observation cabins are removable and can be converted into heated cabins in winter. Designed for colder northern regions, the observation cabins feature a quick-release structure. In winter, they can be replaced with double-glazed windows and underfloor heating, maintaining an interior temperature above 18 degrees Celsius, making the Ferris wheel an year-round operator.

The product has secured a major cultural tourism project contract and will be implemented in a 5A-level scenic area. It has won the bid for a scenic area upgrade project from a provincial tourism group, and is expected to construct an 88-meter-high "Eye in the Sky" with 36 cabins within the 5A-level scenic area. The project is scheduled to open before May Day next year.
